Violence have now become popular it has impacted the lives of our Scholars. Violence has destroyed our education system causing our young people to become victims. Illegitimacy and the breakdown of families lead our children to seek their reality in gan
gs, drugs and profanities. Competitiveness and high parent expectations makes our children lose their identity and turns to criminality. Materialism and advertising, which create a culture disrupted the young people minds and turn them into vultures. Domestic violence and child abuse, makes the young people unhappy and confused. Violent cultural imagery, from T.V. shows, are the only solution our young people know. How do we keep the violence out of the classroom? Should we placed "Metal detectors, SWAT teams, Profiles and Warning signs? or must we sit and watch the increasing crime that lingers in our young people mind. There must be a solution to prevent violence in School, if you have a solution why not share it too.

ReplyDeleteThe family is a critical component to any child’s life. When it comes to education, no greater statistic stands truer today than the achievement gap between students whose parents are involved in their education process and those who do not have that support. Personal responsibility, safety and education are key elements to bringing up the next generation.
After 10 years of experience leading a volunteer program in my children’s elementary and middle schools, Schools And Families Engaged (the S.A.F.E. TEAM on Campus) was launched in 2008 to meet the needs of schools and families. Many of the school's families do not know where to begin in school. Many parents today never had an example of their parents supporting the school let alone they may not have enjoyed their personal schooling experience. Why would they have a desire to serve? You only know what you have experienced.
